Memory Maps ATMega8535

ATMEGA8535 has addressing space of data memory and program memory that is separate. Data memory is divided 3 parts; 32 general registers, 64 registers I/O and 512 bytes SRAM Internal.

Generals register occupies space data at address under, that is $00 until $1F. Special register to handle I/O and control to microcontroller occupies 64 addresses that is start from $20 until $5F. The register is special register applied to arrange function to various microcontroller peripheral, like register control, timer/counter, I/O functions etc. Located program memory in Flash PEROM lapped over in word or 2 byte because every instruction has breadth 16-bit or 32-bit. AVR ATMEGA8535 has 4KByte x 16-bit Flash PEROM with address starts from $000 until $FFF. This AVR has 12-bit Program Counter so that can give address at contents of Flash. Besides, AVR this type also has data memory in the form of EEPROM 8-bit 512 bytes.
